Weird items left behind by home movers revealed!
When people move home they don’t always remember (or choose to) take all their possessions with them and, in fact, you can find all manner of weird and wonderful items after you move into your new abode and get a chance to go through all the cupboards.
Bournemouth Echo shared some of the strangest items that have been discovered in properties, according to a survey conducted by WeBuyAnyHome earlier this year, and some of the results might surprise you.
Of course, during our work carrying out removals in Christchurch, Poole, Bournemouth and beyond, we have found a few things left behind by previous residents too.
At the top of the list of items found in new homes, according to the survey, was house plants. In fact, almost one-third of those surveyed said that they had discovered a house plant left by a previous owner or tenant on moving into a new home. It might be that you are unsure of how best to transport your house plants when moving, in which case check out our top tips for moving your house plants.
Other common items to discover in a new home included old clothes, money and even rotten food. However, some of the weirdest items discovered by those moving into a new home included false teeth, a book of voodoo rituals and doll’s heads.
