Removals Unlimited has a flying start to 2022

What a year 2021 was! Although there was still a great deal of disruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic, here at Removals Unlimited our business went from strength to strength. We were able to help even more people with their moves, taking some of the stress out of the process for dozens of our wonderful clients.

One of our biggest achievements last year (apart from all the moves we were able to support) was the acquisition of Park & Sons, an outstanding local removals business that perfectly complements our offering.

We were recently featured in Dorset Biz News, where our founder Morgan Marouani explained that the acquisition has provided many new opportunities for the business to grow and flourish.

He also revealed that the reason he was drawn to the removals industry back in 2017 was because he believed there was room to take a different approach to delivering services than what was largely available in the market; one focused on the client and ensuring that their moving day is as stress free as possible.

What’s particularly impressive is that in the entire history of the company, we have never missed a deadline or let a customer down!

We also saw our storage business expand in 2021, with more people than ever taking advantage of our secure and clean storage facilities in the heart of Winton. Little wonder given the high number of people choosing to move home last year.

Figures from Statista show that in the third quarter of 2021 alone, 333,586 households were moving, with over 335,000 revealing they were moving soon. Meanwhile, almost 300,000 households described themselves as settling into their new property.

Depending on how much work needs to be carried out on the home you move into, you may not be able to unpack everything immediately. If you are going to extensively decorate or renovate a property, you are likely to find that short-term storage is especially handy, giving you a secure and safe place for your prized possessions and larger items of furniture.

There’s no danger of spilling paint on your sofa or accidentally scratching your sideboard while you’re doing DIY if all of those larger items are safely and carefully stored until you’re ready to unpack and really get settled in your new home.
