House moves: our specialty

Here at Removals Unlimited, we’re always happy to help with any kind of property move, whether it’s a flat, an office, a house or even into or out of storage. That said, house moves in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are definitely our specialty.

We’re local to the area and know the quickest routes around the area, as well as being fully up to date on all the latest restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. You can read about how we keep both you and our team safe during this time here.

Why choose our team at Removals Unlimited for your house move in the south-west (or beyond)? We have extensive experience of all kinds of property moves and we quote based on your home and belongings following a survey of the house you’re moving out of.

That means your quote for our services will be specific to your circumstances and cover everything you need assistance with.

We really come into our own when you choose our full packing service. This means our experienced team of trained professional packers will fully pack up your property ready for your moving day. This service also includes free packing materials to ensure all your belongings are safely packed and transported in the move.

If you’re selling your home and buying another property, completion of both transactions often happens on the same day. We offer a free of charge key wait to all our removals customers in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne and beyond to minimise the stress you experience on moving day as much as we can.

As The Sun noted last year, research conducted by Purple Bricks found that finishing the sale of your existing property was named as one of the most stressful stages of a house move.

Also in the top three of the most stressful elements of moving home were waiting for a completion date and packing. While we aren’t able to control the final stages of a sale or help you get a completion date, we can certainly alleviate much of the stress around packing.

In the UK at the moment there is a flurry of house buying and selling activity as many buyers look to take advantage of the stamp duty holiday that is due to come to an end on 31 March 2021.

However, as BuyAssociation recently reported, a number of organisations are calling on the government to extend the stamp duty holiday, pointing out that data from Zoopla shows there are 140,000 additional sales in the pipeline in January compared to what would usually be expected at this time of year.

The online property site also revealed that just half of sales that are agreed in January will be on track to complete ahead of the end of the stamp duty holiday as it currently stands.

Sometimes, all the stages of a house move don’t line up as we hope they will. If you find you’re in a position to sell your current home but have yet to find the right property to move to, we can help by providing storage for your possessions if you decide to sell and stay in rental accommodation in the interim.

This means you can sell now, without losing your buyer, and move later. Moving your furniture and many of your other belongings into storage means you’ll only have to pack up your home once. There won’t be any unpacking of most of your possessions in a rental property, only to move them all to your new home a few months later.

Removals Unlimited provides short and long-term storage for any of our removals customers in Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole, as well as those moving to the south-west from other parts of the UK.

You can ask us about our storage facilities and rates when you contact us for your free, no-obligation quote for your house move.
